Yves Delorme: The Art of Sleep at Brompton Cross

On Walton Street, among the boutiques and studios that give Brompton Cross its particular character, Yves Delorme has long been a byword for the art of the beautifully dressed bed. The French house, founded in 1845 and recognised as a Living Heritage Company, brings its Autumn Winter 2026 collection to its boutique at 158 Walton Street this season, built around a single, gentle idea: that softness is no longer a luxury, but a foundation of well-being.

Every piece begins in the brand’s French ateliers, where engravers, embroiderers and weavers work over the fine detailing that distinguishes a Yves Delorme design. This season the emphasis falls on carefully chosen materials and the creative vision behind each collection, all in service of a feeling the house calls the Art of Sleep, the sense that the bedroom, and the home around it, can be a place of genuine rest in a restless world.

Much of the collection reads like a garden brought indoors. Muses draws on botanical impressionism, its damask weave tracing delicate foliage in tonal shades of Véronèse green across organic cotton sateen. Rameau reinterprets the decorative elegance of Art Deco through intertwined branches and blossoms in soft blues, gentle greens and powdery neutrals, while Botanic layers vibrant flowers and majestic birds into a richly dreamlike garden scene. For a quieter register, Herbier and Lande both revisit the tradition of Toile de Jouy, the former a monochromatic study of botanical engravings, the latter a hand-drawn landscape of heather, trees and gorse rendered in misty blues. Fleurs completes the picture with a romantic millefleurs printed in fifteen colours, light and effortlessly feminine.
