Cartier at the V&A: A Dazzling Exploration of Timeless Elegance

This spring, the world of high jewellery takes centre stage in London as Cartier returns to the spotlight in a major new exhibition at the V&A. Opening 12 April and running until 16 November 2025, Cartier, Design, Craftsmanship and Innovation marks the house’s first major UK exhibition in almost 30 years. It’s a moment to celebrate the legacy of an icon — and Brompton Cross, as a neighbour of the museum and a destination shaped by style and design, is proud to support this landmark collaboration.

A Celebration of Craft and Culture

Curated in partnership with Cartier, this exhibition brings together more than 350 pieces spanning high jewellery, watches, archival sketches, and tools. Visitors are invited to explore the house’s evolution from its Parisian roots to its global status, with pieces worn by royalty, celebrities, and tastemakers through the decades.

Brompton Cross, just a short walk from the V&A, has long been intertwined with London’s design heritage. It’s a district that champions craftsmanship, creativity, and cultural exchange — all values reflected in the essence of Cartier. From the legacy of savoir-faire to modern expressions of artistry, Cartier is a celebration of timeless influence, much like the neighbourhood it neighbours.
