Conscious Cashmere has landed on Walton Street

Meet the ethical cashmere brand BOGD, the new store on Walton Street, Brompton Cross.

BOGD’S parent company Khanbogd has remained as one of the top 100 companies in Mongolia for the production and supply of cashmere over the last 25 years, and with their support, BOGD is proud to take the place of their official international division, with a direct supply chain to our customers.

Khanbogd has been supplying dehaired cashmere for over 25 years, consistently offering products that exceed the stringent quality requirements of global luxury brands in England, Europe, USA and Asia. None of this would be possible without the work of founder and owner Ankhjargal Jack Purev.

By uniting his Mongolian heritage with over a decade of experience in the retail industry and drawing inspiration from influential figures such as BBC Dragon Touker Suleyman, Bat-Erdene Victor Nyamdavaas ambition has always been to establish a transparent, ethically sourced, and sustainable cashmere brand that embodies both high-end fashion and the Nomadic way of life.

Concious at the top of the list

Khanbogd is proudly certified by the Sustainable Fiber Alliance (SFA), a global non-profit championing local sustainability standards for cashmere producers. Their journey began with a Silver Award Certification in June 2020 – the first of its kind in Mongolia, and they didn’t stop there!

In 2021, Khanbogd made history again, securing the prestigious SFA Gold Award Certification. Exceeding international standards for sustainable production, labor protections, ecological stewardship, and social responsibility. This recognition has propelled us onto the global stage, establishing Khanbogd as a trusted manufacturer of sustainable premium products in the international cashmere community.
