Head to the country for the ultimate summer family festival at Daylesford Farm


Our friends at Bamford Wellness Spa and Daylesford Farm Shop at Brompton Cross are encouraging us Londoners to head to the countryside for their biggest Summer Festival yet. A two-day festival hosted on their  organic farm in the Cotswolds on the 17th & 18th June.

You could spend the weekend exploring a jam-packed itinerary for families, groups of friends and fans of good food and nature, including special guests, JCB Dancing Diggers, live music, cooking demonstrations, hot air balloon rides, hands-on creative workshops and an abundance of delicious organic food and drink.

Some of the Summer Festival incredible highlights that are not to be missed:

o Summer Solstice Banquet with celebrity chef Clodagh McKenna (Saturday night)

o The JCB Dancing Diggers performing (Saturday and Sunday, 11am and 2:30pm)

o Cooking demonstrations with top chefs Romy Gill, Lucy Lord, Tait Miller and more (Saturday and Sunday)

o The famous Daylesford Dog Show (Saturday and Sunday, 12:15pm) and Puppy Yoga (Saturday, 11:45am)

o Special guests including Clodagh McKenna, Ruth Rogers, Christopher Biggins and Richard E Grant

o Hot air balloon (book tethered rides at the festival; subject to wind conditions. Further details below.)

Throughout the weekend:

o Back-to-back live music, comedy and entertainment at the new Orchard Sounds area

o Wellness sessions from yoga, Pilates and stretch to dance psychotherapy

o Cacao ceremony and breath work by DIRTEA, a wellness and lifestyle brand with pure, potent functional mushroom powders and super blends.

o Tent Talks with expert panels.

o Local artist installations, including a mannequin catwalk of fashion made of flowers

o Hands-on floristry and craft workshops

o Sheepdog demonstrations and ‘meet our animals’ for children

o Display of vintage sports cars

o Fairground rides including a vintage helter skelter and carousel

o Children’s entertainment from Sharky & George, Lucas Jet circus, plus Shetland pony walks, face painting, storytelling and book signings

o Chef’s Table Lunch events in the Cookery School

o Be inspired by the Nila Tree of Hope installation
