“In Still Bloom” at Loop Generation: A Delicate Intersection of Fashion and Photography

Brompton Cross is in full bloom with a week of celebrating everything Chelsea Flower Show! On Tuesday, Loop Generation opened its latest exhibition, “In Still Bloom” — a quiet, captivating exploration of floral photography by Filip Gielda. Following a private view attended by collectors, creatives, and friends of the brand, the exhibition is now open to the public and runs until 18 June at Loop Generation’s Chelsea store, located on the newly pedestrianised Draycott Avenue in the heart of Brompton Cross.

Photography Meets Craft at London’s Pre-Loved Fashion Destination

Loop Generation, known as London’s largest destination for curated pre-loved designer fashion, brings a fresh perspective to the Chelsea Flower Show season with this evocative collaboration. “In Still Bloom” showcases a series of still nature photographs by Gielda — a Polish-born, Copenhagen-based artist whose practice is rooted in cross-cultural experience and a quiet reverence for nature.

Printed exclusively on organza and viscose, Gielda’s images seem to float, echoing the fragility of the flora they depict. The unusual materials introduce lightness and tactility, allowing the work to blur the boundary between image and object. It’s a compelling reflection on patience, stillness, and the kind of craftsmanship that transcends trends — qualities Loop Generation champions in both art and fashion.

With annual pilgrimages to Japan and a life lived between Poland, Greenland, Norway, and Denmark, Gielda brings a deeply considered aesthetic to the work. His compositions are minimal yet emotive — suspended moments that invite a slower way of seeing.

Loop Generation’s commitment to sustainability and timeless design makes this collaboration a natural fit. “In Still Bloom” is more than an exhibition; it’s a meditation on how we engage with beauty, the environment, and the things we choose to surround ourselves with.

Visit the exhibition at Loop Generation, 171–175 Draycott Avenue, SW3 3AJ – now part of the newly pedestrianised and increasingly vibrant Brompton Cross district — until 18 June.
