My Brompton Cross by Ece Sirin, CEO and Founder of Bee Goddess Walton Street

We caught up with the CEO and founder of Bee Goddess, the exquisite jewellery store on Walton Street to find out about her Brompton Cross.

What is your history with Brompton Cross?

Three years ago I was looking for a very special area where I could open my jewelry boutique. After exploring different areas across London, I finally decided that this is the best place I could be in. Bee Goddess was born in Walton Street after discovering that this was the street where Princess Diana used to shop and spend time with her family and friends. From then until now, this street is very popular among tourists and locals.

Why do you think Brompton Cross is special?

Brompton Cross it’s not just a shopping destination, it is a very exclusive lifestyle experience, from private clubs like KX, amazing gastronomy, beauty and wellness, and long-lasting designers like Chanel, Joseph, and Isabel Marant to modern and innovative designers like Bee Goddess and Luxury Affair. It is a place where we have it all!

Where do you hang out or refuel at Brompton Cross?

I hang out at Daphne’s for lunch and breakfast at Jaks, the gastronomy is just great. Often, when I need some time for myself I like to go to Andipa Gallery. Last but not least, I love spending time in Harrods, where we are proudly selling Bee Goddess for more than 8 years already.

Where do you like to shop?

I would say Joseph and Chanel.

Any special tips for a newcomer?

It is a very relaxed destination for shopping, with choices of all kinds from luxury to independent fashion and jewelry designers.

About the brand

Ece Şirin is a designer with a vision and an authority on symbolic jewellery, mythology and spiritual wisdom of the ages. In 2008 she co-founded the word’s first talismanic fine jewellery brand Bee Goddess and her mission is to share the power of the talisman with the world through her unique designs.

Bee Goddess offers fine jewellery pieces that celebrate the power of self-discovery and of connection through universal symbols that transcend religion, geography and time. The jewellery provides a platform to connect people, around the brand’s philosophy as well as through its symbols; in particular inspiring, encouraging and valuing women to achieve self-actualization and spirituality, and in seeing the world as interwoven and connected. Ece’s vision for Bee Goddess is to redefine why and how we wear jewellery. Ancient, timeless symbols are woven throughout her collections, taking the wearer on a spiritual and mythological journey towards their inner divinity. The archetypal symbols act as keys to connect to our inner nature, unlocking the power of our subconscious and reflecting the true wisdom of the soul.

Today, Bee Goddess’ retail portfolio includes ten stores in Turkey, a flagship on our Walton Street, as well as global distribution in the finest boutiques around the globe including Harrods in London and Maxfield and Neiman Marcus, New York. Bee Goddess is adored by and has been worn by some of the world’s most famous female icons including Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Donna Karan, Kate Moss, Kate Winslet, Natalia Vodianova, Kylie, and Rhianna.
