Chelsea Arts Festival 2025: Creativity Takes Over SW3

A four-day celebration of culture, community and artistic expression returns to the heart of Chelsea. From 18th–21st September 2025, the streets and venues of Chelsea will come alive with creativity as the Chelsea Arts Festival returns for its biggest programme yet. Bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting names across literature, theatre, art, fashion and comedy, this new cultural landmark is fast becoming one of London’s must-attend events.

The programme is stacked with standout moments: Sheila Atim MBE, Sir Lenny Henry and Dame Sheila Hancock appear in a special literary salon celebrating 30 years of the Women’s Prize for Fiction; Sindhu Vee headlines a comedy gala at Cadogan Hall; and Ambika Mod joins the London Theatre Review live at the Royal Court, discussing her upcoming roles in Every Brilliant Thing and Porn Play.

Bold names. Big ideas. Local venues.

Other highlights include Ekow Eshun in conversation at Saatchi Gallery, Daniel Lismore and Dame Zandra Rhodes discussing fashion and identity, and Allie Esiri’s 365 Poems for Life bringing the magic of poetry to the stage. Families can get hands-on with mosaic making, animation workshops and creative sessions with Book Bar and ArtPlay.

Outdoor performances will fill Sloane Square and the King’s Road, with a dedicated art market on Duke of York Square and a special food market on Saatchi Green. With accessible tickets from £12.50, Chelsea Arts Festival invites everyone to dive into the area’s artistic roots—and see them evolve.
